Funeral Service for Mr. Fredrick Ross age 91 affectionately called "Pa Fred" of Harbour Island and formerly of Greenoch Scotland, who died at his residence January 18th, will be held on Saturday 1;00 p.m. at Wesley Methodist Church Harbour Island.

Rev. John Baldwin II will officiate and interment will follow in St. Catherine's Cemetery Harbour Island.

A life that became an extraordinary journey

Hope that agriculture would one day be included in the national school curriculum so the Bahamas could move towards self-sufficiency. His hobbies included bridge (which he played weekly for decades), golf (which he played up into his late 70s), and fishing. In fact when he was 90 years old he went ice fishing in Canada during the dead of winter.
